When port operations in Oslo were moved from Tjuvholmen to Sjursøya, Oslo Kommune announced an entrepreneur competition. Here one wanted a signature building in Oslo where quality and design were appreciated as much as low costs. Oslo city chose Hallmakers spectacular design solution developed in collaboration with Niels Torp Architects. This project is subsequently nominated by the Norwegian Design Council for good building process and referred to as Norway’s most attractive harbor warehouse.
